THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD

“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall
Corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God
Shall be strong and carry out great exploits”
                                      (Dan. 11:32)

This was a message concerning the end time that some people who are not rapture would face tribulations but if they believe in Jesus Christ, and are able to hold on to their faith may still be able to escape. Many people are depressed, demoralised, run here and there for little things which probably need prayer of agreement or just a ‘word’. At times we look at ourselves as if we are rejected or condemned, but to everything that is good, there is always an attack. Devil does not fashion weapon against those who do not have stars or glory, when the enemies are waging war against you, they have seen something good and glorious in you. As the land of Israel is very small, they are fighting everyday because it is a land that is flowing with milk and honey. There is no way you will be breaking a rock if there is nothing inside it, when we find diamond or gold inside a rock, it does not matter which weapon we are going to use or how long it will take, we will break the rock because there is something inside it.

Before the arrival of Moses, there had been a decree of death because Satan saw that there was someone who would destabilise his kingdom and set people free from slavery, but Moses was not killed because destiny can never be changed. They have forgotten that there is no sorcery against Jacob nor divination against Israel (Num 23:23), devil may try to attack you, they have failed (Rom. 8:31).The more Satan wages war, the more you conquer in the name of Jesus Christ. The more they afflict you the more you will move forward and progress in the name of Jesus Christ.

WHO ARE THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD?

  1. The over comers of temptation: These are people who can resist temptation. The first sin that came to this world was when the serpent went to the woman in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:1-19) and tempted her. The woman ate the fruit, gave it to her husband and then, decree of death came. God decreed that ‘for dust you are, and to dust you shall return’ (Gen 3:19); the soul that sins shall surely die (Ezek 18:4). Adam and Eve knew God in the beginning but failed, but in the account of Joseph in the case of Potiphar (Gen 39:7-23), he refused to sleep with another man’s wife, he stood against sin. Those who can say ‘no’ to temptation (smoking, drinking alcohol or offering it to other people, not part of anything of the devil), these are the people who know their God, those who know their God shall be strong in the time of temptation; the wind may blow, problems may happen, you can be lied against, do not care, God is with you (Is 8:10). You will face it and God will make you to triumph and He will deliver you (Ps34:19).

  1. The people who walk with God: Not everyone who comes to church or holds a bible or preaches walk with God. There are two patriarchs who walked with God; Enoch walked with God by faith for 300years and he was not, for God took him (Gen 5:22-24, Heb 11:5-6) As Enoch did not die, you will not die in the name of Jesus Christ. Abraham was 99 years old when God called him to walk with Him and be perfect, he believed in the Lord and He accounted it to him for righteousness(Gen 15:6, 17:10) These are the people who knew their God, come rain or sun, without faith you can not please God. The bible says that if you have faith, you will know you’re God and those who know their God will be strong. Persecution is the strength to your Christian journey knowing that your God is

  1. there for you and He will deliver you in the name of Jesus Christ, all your problems are just a shadow which will pass away, at the end of the tunnel, there is light  (Col 2:14). No matter how long you have been waiting, whatever God says must surely be accomplished.
  2. People who are obedient to His voice; God commanded Noah to make an ark of gopher wood, he heard the voice of God and obeyed (Gen 6:5-22). Many problems cling unto us because we do not obey God. If God says this is the way, you have to handle it and go for it, you can not expect everyday to be smooth, and otherwise, you will relax. At times, adversaries may be raised against you to test your faith though you have not done anything wrong, when such things happen, do not depart; those who know their God shall be strong. God is not interested in what you are thinking but what He asks you to do. If you can not obey God, you can not serve God.
  3. People who can discern between lie and truth; many people can not discern   between miracle and magic because they are desperate. Do not negotiate your life with anybody, remember that Esau negotiated his birthright with Jacob and he was unable to get it back. Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and did not see the body of Christ, other disciples went back home but Mary Magdalene stayed until she saw Jesus Christ because she knew her God; she could discern between truth and lie (John 20:1-18). If you can not discern between truth and lie, you will just be consumption for the fake prophets. Discerning spirit is very important in the Christian journey.
  4. People who have vision; these people will not allow their vision to be destroyed, they stand upon their vision, no matter what is blowing in their way. David had vision, he killed Goliath (1 Sam 17:32-50), Apostle Paul was warned not to go to Jerusalem but he did not care for his life but went to Jerusalem (Act 21:10-13). If some people want to flush you out, tell them that you can not be flushed out because you have a vision and purpose.
  5. People who know how to thank their God; If you know how to praise the Lord, you will be strong (2Chr 20:1-28). When you have problems begin to sing, when you are singing, devil is weeping and your enemies will be mourning. Your enemies will kill themselves by themselves in the name of Jesus Christ.

a.   Do not go around seeking help from fetish priests.
b.  Stop seeking help from shrines
c.   Be holy as your God is holy so He can redeem you (Lev 11:44-45, Exod19:6,Lev 20:26)
d.  Be perfect just as your Heavenly Father is perfect (Matt 5:48).
e.   No temptation has ever overtaken you except such as is common to man……. (1 Cor 10:13).

PRAYER: Father, make me to know you, I want to be strong in the time of
Adversity, in the time of tribulation, make me to know you in the
                  Name of Jesus Christ.
My vision shall not die, my vision shall not crash, I will progress, I
Will move forward in the name of Jesus Christ.

                 BE STRONG
                            AND
                          REMAIN BLESSED IN THE LORD
